I was born on 10/7/57 in Saugus Mass, USA
I am the 4th of 5 children, 2 deceased bros, my baby sister and twin bro Wayne. (He looks a lot older than me)
I Grew up in Southern California, Grad of LOS AMIGOS H.S. Fountain Valley Ca. (I think I graduated)
I was Lucky and found a great gal! My wife of 30 years, named Linda. We raised 4 children Chris, Amy, Dawn, and my Little Munchkin Sarah.
I like to read non-fiction, collect Disney Stuff, watch 3D movies, Nap (HEY I’m over 50) and what else, but TRAVEL!!
I am just a blue collar guy, who just like most, has had to BUST ASS to put food on the table, clothes on my back, and a roof over my head! I have a passion for travel, and a burning desire to make people happy through the adventure of travel. I truly believe “By giving, we all gain!“

Here is My Story
Well let’s see, I was born a long time ago,before cell phones,videos, MTV ,vcrs and personal computers. I am a late model babyboomer,to be exact. My folks grew up in the burbs north of Boston. When I was born ,I was know as baby ” B”,because in those days, ( before ultrasound ), twins could not always be detected. So,after a couple of days they finally named me Warren , ( it means a place where rabbits live or a hole in the ground ) , go figure.
Anyway,in the early 60′s we moved to California ( Orange County ) and that is where I grew up. My childhood was great . My twin brother and I were always getting in to mischeif ,with the Newton boys. In the 70′s ,I got into the “sex,drugs and rock&roll “( less the sex, trust me) scene and barely escaped with my life. By the end of the decade I met the love of my life and a new chapter was about to begin.
My wife ,Linda , never said ” she was scraping the bottom of the barrel” but I sure was a loser. She had to see something of worth in me ,because after raising 4 children,( I still don’t know how we did it ) we hve been together for more than 30yrs.
My love of travel started about 1990. Linda and I up to that time, had never been alone since before we were married. We had children from a previous marrige and they always went everywhere, with us. Then ,we were givin a 5 day vacation to Las Vegas ! Wow, did we have a great time . I got lucky and she went shopping. Best of all we fell in love, all over again. Driving home from that vacation , I told Linda” that no matter what, we were going to travel at least every 18 months”. It hasn’t always been easy, but it has always been worth it.
Since then we have taken ,what some people say 7 Dream vacations , as well as a number of others. I don’t know ,but for a guy who never thought he would make it to any place besides his own backyard , there all dream vacations to me.
Finally, I started Whata Deal Travel for one simple reason, to share my love of travel with you .
